Responsible to the Playscheme Manger, this role will see you working in a team to ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children aged 4-11 who attend our settings before and after school.
Breakfast Club - The children arrive throughout the session and are offered breakfast on arrival. This can be anything from cereal to toast and waffles! Once they've had their breakfast they are free to play. Our team then take the children to their classrooms for the start of the school day.
Afterschool Club - When the children have been collected from their classrooms, they are offered a light snack which is prepared by a member of our team. From there, they will spend the afternoon engaging in supported free play and have the opportunity to take part in the adult led activity for that day, which would usually be craft or cookery. They are given a further small snack at around 16:45.
Working in a team, you will be required to deliver the session, including managing refreshments, playing with the children and arranging the daily activity. Staff take it in turns to take responsibility for each area which means every session is different!
More detail on the key responsibilities, the type of person we're looking for, and our application process can be found below.
