Dear Parents and Carers
We hope you all had a fantastic break filled with wonderful memories. We were so excited to welcome the children back after Christmas and see their smiling faces once again.
As soon as we returned, we wasted no time in diving into activities that the children absolutely love. From arts and crafts to games and outdoor play, there's never a dull moment. The children were thrilled to be reunited with their friends and eagerly jumped back into the excitement.
Our activities have been a huge hit so far this term, providing lots of fun and learning opportunities for the children. It has been a joy to witness their enthusiasm and see the incredible creations they have come up with.
Outside free play is very popular and we always venture outside, children who want to stay inside have options of free play or an activity. This term has been winter themed and the children have really been very creative. We have made penguins, polar bears, woolly hats and jewellery using beads and loom bands, please see pictures below.
The theme for this years Children's Mental Health week was "My Voice Matters" The focus was on empowering young individuals to use their voices, express what matters to them, and encourage others to listen and understand their perspectives.
At Clubland, we recognize the significance of promoting mental wellbeing. We offered the children an opportunity to express themselves through the creation of a gratitude journal. This activity served as a wonderful tool for children to cultivate mindfulness, enhance positivity, and regulate their emotions.
The activity fostered a sense of gratitude in children, encouraging them to reflect on what they are thankful for each day and to acknowledge their own acts of kindness and accomplishments.
We would like to wish you a happy half term and look forward to the exiting new term ahead. We will continue to explore the wonderful month of February, heading in to March where Easter will be upon us!!
