To our Long Ditton Infant Families,
What a busy term we have had at Clubland Long Ditton Infant School! It has been great to welcome so many new faces to our Clubland family this term. Getting to know each child has been an exciting experience.
Throughout the term, we've engaged in a variety of activities aimed at fostering both learning and fun. From exciting outdoor play to creative indoor pursuits, our days have been filled with laughter, curiosity, and the joy of discovery. The children have particularly taken a liking to activities such as making playdough, doing cookery on Fridays, creating interesting crafts and trying to do all the dance moves on Just Dance - making each day unique and memorable.
The children love playing outside on the football pitch, trim trail and on the playground. One standout aspect of our term has been the 'Colour Eliminator' game, which has become popular among the children. The enthusiasm and energy they bring to this game truly embody the spirit of Clubland! Football, tennis and the Didicars are also very popular.
We are thrilled to share that our Year 2 children have been incredible leaders in supporting our Reception children in our Buddy system. Witnessing the bonds forming between the oldest and youngest members of our Clubland family has been heart-warming.
As we count down the days to the festive season, our excitement is building. The children recently came together to create a beautiful Advent Calendar and our naughty elf Johnny is currently staying with us doing lots of silly things. In the lead-up to Christmas, we have planned a series of festive activities and we're looking forward to our Christmas party to celebrate the holiday spirit.
We wish you lots of happiness and joy in this Christmas Season. We are looking forward to see you in 2024.
From Andreja and the team at Long Ditton Infant School
