Our Application Process

Complete an application form online to apply for one of our roles. You'll need to give us a brief background of your education and work history as well as tell us why you think you are a good candidate for the role. 

 

The interview will take place over Zoom, between the hours of 09:30-17:30 Monday to Friday. Two members of our Management Team will lead the interview and you'll be asked a series of questions that will enable us to assess your suitability for the role. Our top tip is to make sure you've looked at the essential areas of the Person Specification as this will give you some clue as to the types of things you will be asked about.

 

You'll be given the opportunity to showcase your skills at a trial shift at one of our settings. The times of these shifts are detailed on our main recruitment page. You'll be supervised by the Manager on site and they'll be assessing how you interact with the children and your team-working ability. This is also a good opportunity for you to make sure Clubland is the right fit for you. If successful, you'll be offered a conditional contract offer.

 

Successful applicants will be offered employment subject to two satisfactory references and obtaining an enhanced DBS check through Clubland. We can accept DBS checks through an external company as long as they are registered with the Update Service. Clubland cover the cost of this initial check but as part of your employment you will be expected to sign up to the Update Service.

 

All staff are required to complete training that will enable them to provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children who attend our settings. Training is tailored to each role and the successful passing of your probationary period is dependant on you passing this training.
